Another snowy December is almost upon us in beautiful Grande Prairie, Alberta, and with it comes another festive, holiday season.
 
As the holiday season approaches, the city of Grande Prairie will host a procession of exciting, holiday events, many of which occur just a short distance from our cozy Grande Prairie hotel.

Northern Spirit Light Show | Multiple Dates

 
As a seasonal favorite in the city of the Grande Prairie, the Northern Spirit Light show is poised to make its enchanting annual return. Christmas Unplugged Comedy & Music Show | December 6

 
On December 6, head over to the Grande Prairie Christian School for a night of stand-up comedy, Improv, music, and all-around silliness courtesy of comedians Leland Klassen and Dan Macaulay. AB Summer Games Christmas Carnival & Market | December 9

 
On Saturday, December 9, head over to the Alberta Summer Games Office at 11313-105 St for a can’t-miss Christmas carnival and market. The perfect chance to cross some items off your Christmas shopping list, this will feature dozens of artisan goods and treats. The cost of admission is a donation.
