Whether you are passing through on a conference or taking a road trip vacation, everyone deserves to let loose and allow the music to take them to a different place sometimes. That’s exactly why we’ve curated a list of must-see music events happening right here in Grande Prairie! Read (or rock!) on to find out more:

Nazareth - August 9
This Scottish rock band has been pioneering the rock scene in the UK since the 1960s, and will continue to do so at the Revolution Place arena on August 9th, 2018! Famous for their song ‘Hair of the Dog’ and cover of ‘Love Hurts’, which shot them into international stardom, this is set to be a riveting show! Grab your tickets online for as low as $29, and get ready for a night of heavy head-banging!

Bear Creek Folk Music Festival - August 17-19
On their 3rd year running, the Bear Creek Folk Music Festival at Muskoseepi Park is sure to please those with all kinds of different music tastes! The music styles at this family-friendly event range from celtic to bluegrass, blues to rock, and contemporary to traditional folk sounds! It features local and international artists like City and Colour, Colin James, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and 100 Mile House. With 31 performers, 20 food and craft vendors, and adult 1-day passes starting at $75, why wouldn’t you be there?

Black Pistol Fire - August 17
This hard rock duo that have been paving their own way to success since 2009 have come into Grande Prairie kicking and screaming for their show on the 17th of August. Famous for their song ‘Suffocation Blues’, and their newest release, ‘Cry Wolf’, with a sound that mimics what can only be described as the lovechild of Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac. With a festival track record of playing wild performances at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Sasquatch, this concert at Better Than Fred’s is one you won’t want to miss!

After a long, hard night of fist-punching the air, come relax with a beer at Tractor Jack’s pub, then crawl into our nice, soft beds for the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had. We can’t wait to host you and cater to any and all of your needs, from breakfast to business conferences.
