What started in 1995 as the Bud Country Jamboree has grown into the Peace Country’s largest festival. Each year, locals and visitors alike take in the sounds of international country superstars as they take the stage at the Bud Country Fever. Come on down June 28th-29th to take in the biggest country music festival the Peace Country has to offer! The festival has evolved from it’s humble roots of local music to include names such as Brad Paisley, Neal McCoy, Keith Urban, and Lonestar.
This years line up is sure to keep festival goes on entertained with A-list bands The Road Hammers, Big & Rich, Brett Kissel, DOC Walker and more are all set to play. On Saturday June 28th, get ready to relive all of your favorite songs when Creedence Clearwater Revisited hits the mic. With shows starting Friday evening and running until Sunday night, you’ll want to check out the full event schedule to make sure you don’t miss your favourite band. In addition to great live music, you can expect a great lineup of vendors and food, as well as a bouncy castle to keep things lively.
Each year this festival not only provides world class entertainment to the region, but also donates thousands to local causes and businesses to maintain good relationships with the surrounding community. The venue, Evergreen Park, has been a favourite in Grande Prairie for it’s versatility. The park not only offers a great place for festivals, but also camping, a racetrack, an exhibition center, and is one of Western Canada’s premiere Baseball venues. Much of the park’s expansion and recent upgrades has been assisted by the Bud Country Fever.
