There’s also something fun to see and do in Grande Prairie. You can explore the natural surroundings, check out the local museum, or attend one of the many one-off activities and happenings that may occur on the spot. If you’re visiting in late October and are looking for something fun to do, then read on below, where we outline three of many events in Grande Prairie. Coming up we have fun evenings for a good cause and two special Halloween events.

Fun for a good cause

Want to have fun, do your bit for a good cause, and also sample some of the local life in Grande Prairie? Then consider attending the RMHCA Once Upon a Time Ball, which will take place on October 26, and will feature plenty of fun activities for children and adults alike. All the money raised will go towards the Ronald McDonald House. Last year, $67,000 was raised!

Halloween ale

What better way to celebrate the Halloween season than by having a fun night with your loved ones? At the Scarecrow Fest-of-Ale event, you can enjoy delicious beer, live music, and amazing food, all with a Halloween spin. It’ll all be taking place at Revolution Place on October 25.

Scary scarecrows

And if that sounds like fun, then what about a shindig? There’s nothing better than a shindig! The Scarecrow Festival Shindig will feature plenty of scarecrows, acrylic paintings, food, and a live band. Also at Revolution Place, but this time on October 26.

You should round off your trip by staying at the best hotel in Grande Prairie. At the Paradise Inn & Conference Centre, you’ll have everything you need to fully enjoy your trip away from home. We offer a range of accommodation types and provide amenities that include a complimentary hot breakfast, fitness centre, and onsite restaurant and pub.
